PRACTISE THROWING

Service Description

Visit my at-home studio and work the wheel with 1 kg of clay. This session is for those who already know how to throw/have had their beginner's lesson and need less tutelage. I'll of course be on hand, but this is more about your practise! We can also build these sessions into learning how to trim your pots that are leather hard if you've booked in the past. I have two wheels available in my studio so if you'd like to come with a friend or partner, parent or sibling, let me know so I can book you both in for the same time. WHAT TO EXPECT CLAY: You'll get an alotment of 1kg of clay. REFRESHMENTS: Tea, snacks, and chats. It'll just be yourself and me in the studio (if you like dogs then maybe my greyhound Ernie will visit for pats too). ACCESSIBILITY: The studio has a couple of shallow steps to get into the space and then is flat ground. I'm sorrt if steps are an issue we don't yet have a ramp solution in place. If you have any injuries or physical needs that affect throwing, please let me know in advance so I can work with you to make sure your time is safe and comfortable.
